Club Long Rides

Introduction

Welcome to the GYCC Club Long Ride section. Here you can see the next available up and coming ride, see previous rides and also see who has ridden the most rides and also photos from the great days out that club members have had.

We normally have one 100 mile ride per month, starting in May of each year through to October, weather permitting. We will try to have one group speed, which will be between 15 and 17 mph. If group numbers allow, we will break up into different groups according to speed of riders.

The main ride of the season is the Summer Solstice Ride on the longest day of the year, nearest to the weekend, roughly 20th of June each year. Each ride is advertised as an event on the events page on this website, so you can plan ahead. We would normally only have one cafe stop, but it isn’t set in stone and we will go with the flow.
