The weather forecast for Sunday was dreadful. Storm Angus was due with up to 50 mph winds and heavy rain all morning. This probably explains why there were only 4 of us out this week. It was a bit wet first thing but by the time we left The Arches at 08:30 it was just a light drizzle. The rain soon stopped completely. We rode to Oulton Broad, Muford, Sotterley and Brampton. There was a lot of standing water on the roads, near Stoven it was particularly bad. After Brampton we headed roughly North towards Raveningham. We stopped at The Ravenous café at The Raveningham Centre, for Tea, Coffee and cakes before returning to Gorleston via Haddiscoe by 13:00. All in all in was a great day and proves that whatever the forecast is you should just get out and ride. We completed 47 miles.
