7 of us left “The Arches” meeting point at 08:30 and headed north under heavy dark clouds. We picked up 3 more riders at Caister. We went to Wroxham via Stokesby and Acle. The ride to Acle was pretty tough as we were riding into a strong headwind. At Wroxham we turned east and rode to Potter Heigham. There were a few showers on the way and unfortunately we had 3 repair stops during the morning. The worst of the rain fell while we were in the warm and dry of the excellent BridgeStones cafe in Potter, they do great cakes. We then rode back to Gorleston arriving back at approx. 13:00.
