It is with regret that we have more sad news of a passing of another club stalwart, Tony Mitchell has lost a 2 year battle with cancer within the last few days.
Tony had been a valued committee member for quite a few years, prior to the club’s recent resurgence and as such was one of the people, who we can thank for keeping the club going in the lean times and with its re-branding and reformation into the club it is today. Tony was always keen to help with the running of the club, hosting the club’s committee meetings for several years and most notably with marshalling and signing the course, being used on the day.
